Academy

With schools such as University West, Center for higher education in Bohuslän and Lysekil and Academy of design and crafts in Steneby alongside several university colleges within commuting distance in Sweden and Norway, Position West offers a wide range of education programs.

Nature

The unique Bohuslän archipelago and the national park of Kosterhavet, virgin forests, hills, the Halle- and Hunneberg plateau, Vänern and hundreds of other clean-water lakes and rivers, are flanked by an open agricultural landscape.

Region

Position West includes 16 of a total of 49 municipalities in the region Västra Götaland, which in total has 1.5 million inhabitants. The regional capital is Vänersborg, while Gothenburg is Västra Götaland’s largest city and financial hub.
